Eligible Applicants include:
– Athletes nominated by their National Sporting Organization (NSO)
– Athletes training to represent Australia in Olympic, Paralympic, or Commonwealth Games
– Australian citizens eligible to represent the country at international sports events
Funding Available:
The ASC has allocated $16.68 million for the dAIS Program in 2023-24, including a one-off additional top-up payment to identified athletes to alleviate cost-of-living pressures. The grant amounts vary based on the athlete’s category, with Podium athletes receiving $37,500 annually and Podium Ready athletes receiving $27,500 annually, including the one-off payment.
