Helen Dorning is part of the Dragons Abreast Ballarat organisation.

Dragons Abreast Australia is a national charity with groups spread across the country and a membership of over 1200 individuals, the majority of whom are breast cancer survivors.

Dragons Abreast provides an understanding network for survivors who participate in the sport of dragon boat paddling.
