Greyhound Racing Capital Grants Program

As part of its reform of the greyhound racing industry, the NSW Government committed $30 million for conditional capital grants to assist Greyhound Racing NSW and its clubs upgrade greyhound racetrack facilities to make them safer for greyhounds.

Funding can be used for infrastructure projects to improve safety at track facilities for greyhounds. Project costs may include construction and the purchase of capital equipment.

Examples of projects include:

  • track safety upgrades
  • track irrigation works
  • starting box infrastructure
  • track surface drainage works
  • track remediation works.

 

Applications must be submitted by Greyhound Racing NSW, on behalf of greyhound racing clubs, in line with its Track Safety and Welfare Strategy.
