SwimStart is a new voucher program to support learn to swim activities for 0 to 4 year olds. Parents, carers or guardians can apply for a voucher valued up to $150 for their child, which can be used towards swimming lessons with a registered SwimStart activity provider. There is a limit of 1 voucher per child per financial year.

Eligible Applicants must:

  • Be a Queensland Resident
  • Have a child aged 0-4
  • Have a current Services Australia Health or Pensioner Concession Card
  • Have a current Medicare card with their child’s name on it
