Money does indeed matter as it so important for sporting clubs to be sustainable and continue to achieve their goals and reach success both on and off the field!
It is vital that we implement good financial management practices to ensure that we take care of our club’s financial health and despite what seems like the obvious answer, your treasurer is not solely responsible for managing the money and funds for your club. Every committee member must come forward and have an impact in regard to finances as they are legally responsible for the financial health of the club.
If you are a committee member with no background of handling or managing money, this may seem overwhelming and be a challenge but don’t fear as Sports Community is here to help!
This Sports Community Webinar Series will provide or increase your knowledge of financial reports and ensure you have the skills to engage in constructive financial planning and reporting to help achieve the club’s goals! For current treasurers, this series will also break your role down to make it easier for you to be successful!

– Empowering your committee to talk finance
– Providing information to help with financial management
– Budgeting and cash flow to ensure good management
– Effective reports and interpretations for your committee

You can log in to your session 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
This is a great opportunity to check your connection as well as make the most of the time with your presenter and other participants. During this 30 minutes you can ask any questions specific to your club and ensure you get the answers you are looking for.
After the session a recording of the course will be sent to you to view at your leisure. (Please note: Free webinars are not recorded)
