Taking on the role as President or Secretary at your club can initially be a daunting experience. Often little handover or support is provided to volunteers to teach them how to be successful in their role, to ensure the club can meet its objectives.

Our 3 part Webinar series is designed to show you not only what needs to be achieved to maintain ordinary club function, but HOW to do it. We will provide step by step guidance to ensure you feel supported, and you’ll walk away with the confidence you need to complete your role in grassroots sport.

In this series, the following will be covered over the three sessions:

  1. Leadership + culture = success
  2. The characteristics of successful clubs, presidents, secretaries and committees
  3. Now you’re the president, where do you start?
  4. How to create a culture of volunteering at your club
  5. Understanding your Club – What needs to be done? When? How and who can do it?
  6. Recruiting and empowering volunteers

Additional Information about the Session:
