Introduction:
The Club Night Lights Program supports the development of sports floodlighting infrastructure across Western Australia. This initiative provides financial assistance to community groups and local governments to help maintain or increase participation in sport and recreation by developing high-quality and well-utilized lighting facilities. The program ensures that sports can continue into the evening, promoting physical activity and community engagement.
Eligible Applicants Include:
- Local governments in Western Australia.
- Not-for-profit sport, recreation, or community organizations.
- State sporting associations.
- Community groups with equitable access to public facilities.
Funding Available:
- Club Night Lights Program Grants: Up to one-third of the total project cost, with a maximum grant of $1 million (excluding GST).
These grants support the installation or upgrade of sports floodlighting infrastructure.
Additional Information:
- The facility must be on Crown reserve, public authority land, municipal property, or land held for public purposes with proper legal protections.
- Applicants must be incorporated and have an Australian Business Number (ABN).
