Growing Football Community Grants

Following the success of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™, Football Australia has launched the Growing Football Fund to support the continued growth of women’s football across Australia.
Through the Growing Football Fund, supported by CommBank, community clubs and associations will have access to a grant that supports initiatives and programs that look to develop and/or promote women’s and girls’ football for the upcoming season.
Eligibility:
To quality for funding, clubs or associations must:
- Be located in Australia
- Be registered with Football Australia
- Have at least one women or girls team, program, division or competition
Grants area available up to $5,000.
Grants can be awarded for the following types of future activities:
- Initiatives that encourage participation for women and girls
- Activities that provide a better participant experience
- Development opportunities for women and girls
- Specific uniform (the removal of white playing shorts)
- Player registration fees/subsudies
- Other activities, programs or events which Football Australia considers consistent with the objectives of the Growing Football Fund.
