Grants - Open grants, NT Grants

The Remote Sport Program funds sport and recreational activities in remote areas of the Northern Territory.

Eligible organisations include:

  • NT regional councils with responsibility for remote communities
  • Non-government organisations providing sport and active recreation outcomes in remote locations.

Funding is assessed on a case-by-case basis and negotiated between the organisation and the provider.

Successful applicants will be required to submit ongoing progress reports.

Funding will be considered for any program that promotes sports, health and wellbeing in remote communities.
