QGC Sponsorship and Donations Program

Overview

This program aims to provide one-off donations and sponsorships to support regional communities in the Western Downs and Gladstone areas.

There are two types of funding available:
– Donation: A one-off financial contribution without an expectation of public recognition for QGC’s support.
– Sponsorship: A one-off financial contribution with an expectation of public recognition for QGC’s support.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available.

Applications must be made at least three months prior to the funding requirement.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible applicants include organisations that must:
– Have a current ABN.
– Be a legal entity.
– Be not-for-profit
– Be based in the Western Downs Regional Council, Gladstone Regional Council, or be endorsed by an Aboriginal Traditional Owner group which has an agreement with QGC.

Eligible Activities

Eligible activities include those that contribute to one or more of the following areas:
– Sport and recreation
– Education
– Environment
– Arts and culture

The project must be a short-term, one-off community project, service or event.

Restrictions

The following are ineligible for funding:
– Applications from individuals.
– Applications from political parties.
– Applications from religious organisations for religious purposes.
– Applications supporting dangerous activities.
– Prize money for competitions.
– Ongoing costs or retrospective project costs.

This grant will close on the 30th of September, 2020.

2021 applications will be open in January 2021.
