A Healthy Tasmania Innovations Grant
Grants - Open grants, TAS Grants
The Tasmanian Government is investing $1 million in the Healthy Tasmania Community Innovations Grants.
The grants are an important part of the Health Tasmania Five Year Strategic Plan, the State Government’s new approach to helping people enjoy better health and happier, longer lives.
Between 2017 and 2019 we will provide seed-funding to support innovative, sustainable, grassroots, community-driven programs that aim to improve health and reduce health inequities for Tasmanian communities.
To be eligible for funding your organisation must:
- be an incorporated not-for-profit legal entity, or be sponsored by an incorporated organisation or a not-for-profit legal entity. This includes local government
- have an office or branch in Tasmania and be proposing to undertake the project in Tasmania.
Your project can focus on healthy eating OR physical activity OR smoking cessation. If your project covers two (or all three) of these, that’s fine too.
However, all projects should have a community connection focus.
Community groups can apply for funding up to $25,000 for up to a 12 month project.
How to Apply
To apply for a grant, you must email a completed Healthy Tasmania Community Innovations Grants Application Form to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5:00 pm on Monday 2 November 2018.
