Charge Up Workplace EV Charging Grants

The WA Government is co-funding approximately 50% of the cost of electric vehicle chargers through $15 million in grants. Round 2 of the Charge Up Workplace Grants is now open, offering faster direct current (DC) chargers up to 350kW. This initiative aims to support the installation of EV chargers by small and medium businesses, local government authorities, and not-for-profit organizations.

Eligible Applicants include:
– Small businesses (less than 20 employees)
– Medium businesses (20 to 199 employees)
– Not-for-profits registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission
– Local government authorities

Funding Available:
– $12.5 Million in grant funding support available for small and medium businesses, local government authorities, and not-for-profit organizations
– Grant funding support covers up to 50% of EV charger hardware, software, and installation costs
– Includes both AC chargers (7 to 22kW) and DC chargers (25kW to 350kW)
