The ACT Children’s Week Committee offers small seeding grants of around $200 to assist in organizing events and activities related to Children’s Week. These grants aim to increase awareness of the needs, interests, rights, and achievements of children and young people, promoting community involvement and cooperation.

Eligible Applicants include:

  • Organizations based in the ACT
  • Applicants not needing to be incorporated or associated bodies
  • Applicants not needing to have an ABN

Funding Available:

  • $200 for organizing Children’s Week-related events and activities

Additional Information:

  • Events must take place between October 14 and November 3, 2024.
  • Categories for grants include Intergenerational Activities, STEM-Related Activities, Indigenous-Themed Activities, Children’s Week Theme, and Community Wellbeing/Building Social Capital.
  • Successful applicants will be notified by September 30, 2024.
