Sport is something that is loved around the world; it is entertaining and gains mass amount of support from the millions of passionate people that both play and watch it.
Sport is not only enjoyable, but it has been linked with providing many benefits that help children succeed in their everyday lives. Sport helps kids find success in their personal life, through schooling and helps in regard to future career prospects!
This has been documented by the plethora of skills that they learn through sport, including but not limited to team work, time management, problem solving and self-reliance.
As a parent, it is important to you to help provide support for your child, generating success for them but you may not know how you can create this for them through their time in sport. Don’t fear, we are here to help give you the ins and outs of how you can ultimately be a helping hand for your children as they seek overall success throughout their life endeavours with the help of sport!
This Sports Community Webinar Series will provide you with the knowledge you need to help your children achieve their sporting goals, enjoy their sporting endeavours and how you can ensure they stay motivated and want to continue playing sport through their teen and adult lives. It will also discuss and inform the ways sport can increase your child’s ability to succeed in life, how you can be confident to volunteer and help out at the club and most importantly, how to be a positive sporting parent!

- What the research tells us about sport and a healthy lifestyle
- How much sport is too much sport
- How to find the best sport for my child
- How to find the best advice on sporting apparel
- “To rep or not to Rep” That is the question!
- Navigating injury and recovery
- Managing the “ugly parent” syndrome
- The benefits of being actively involved with your child’s sport
- The car ride home
Additional Information about the Session:
You can log in to your session 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
This is a great opportunity to check your connection as well as make the most of the time with your presenter and other participants. During this 30 minutes you can ask any questions specific to your club and ensure you get the answers you are looking for.
After the session a recording of the course will be sent to you to view at your leisure. (Please note: Free webinars are not recorded)
For most courses you will not only receive the webinar training but also a worksheet and links to the best resources in the country on your training topic.
